Bioengineering

Bioengineering-In order to use this new feature you must first obtain a Bio Engineering Book. These can drop from certain mobs tied to bioengineering, but can also be obtained through Taming BODs. You will need to get a Bio-Tool to craft Empty DNA Vials and Empty DNA Vial Sets to collect DNA from mobs. The Bio-Tool is available through Taming BODs and certain mobs related to bioengineering. Once you have created empty DNA vials, you can use it to collect DNA from virtually any monster in the world, yes, including paragons. It cannot be used to collect DNA from humans, this includes mercenaries. To collect DNA, double click the vial and select from one of four DNA types; Prowess, Environment, Mental and Mimic. It's up to you to discover what each type of DNA does, but one hint, Mimic means your bio pet will take the form of the monster you collect Mimic DNA from. Collecting DNA isn't exactly easy, sometimes you can collect it on the first try, other times the vial might break, you could just anger the monster, or you could even kill it. When you've collect a DNA sample, hovering over the vial will tell you the type you collected and how potent it is. Use the Empty DNA Vial Set to add your full DNA vials to it. You'll need one of each vial to fill the vial set. Once it is full a window will open which will let you create your bio pet. You will receive a maximum of 15 experimentation points. Each point spent will increase a stat by a certain percentage. This varies depending on if the experiment was successful or not. Once you have used all the experimentation points, click create. You will also need to collect Organic Material to create a bio pet. Organic Material can be looted from mobs in Exodus Dungeon. You will find Genetic Failures, Abominations, Evil Bio-Engineers, and Evil Geneticists. (NOTE: Bio pets do not level and cannot be bred nor can they be shrunk and Animal Lore will not work on humanoids.)

i gathered about 180K of organics just by slaying Bio engineers and geneticist i still not been able to get the BioBook...its the drop rate under of 1/1000 ?

killed more than 600 of them...180K with a mean of 300 by Bioman...

m i killing the right guys?

The BioBook is a rare drop on the monsters, but you can do Taming Contracts to have a better shot at it. Those taming contracts have recently had their gold increased as well.

Do you mean contracts from the guy in New Haven? or do you mean only BODs?

Only Taming BODs. Large or small, doesn't matter, but your chances are slightly increased with large BODs.
