How do I get the context menu to work?

Hello!

I just started and unlike when I've been on UO before, the context menu doesn't work for me here. That is, I click on my self and no context menu. I click on an NPC and no context menu. I click on my paperdoll and it doesn't day how many things I'm carrying or how much they weigh.

Is there a patch I need to download?

Try clicking the Status button on your paper doll

Make sure your client is not patched higher than 7.0.12.1. If it is, there is a link to a full client download for the shard on our Connecting Info page on the website. That also has all the latest shard patches already applied.

Thanks to Piero and Raist for replying!

Alas, clicking on the status wouldn't work and, yes, was patched beyond where Raist suggested.

Looked at the download here; it's a .zip file and I have issues with those (okay, I'm old and my brain isn't getting any younger!) so I uninstalled UO and re-installed (as I have done several times in the last week)...except now it doesn't want to patch.

*sigh*

So maybe I'll see y'all in game...and maybe I won't.

But thanks for the help!

Hi Twyla,

I have just recently reinstalled UO as well.
the first time i tried patching it it wouldn't do it either. what i found was i had to restart the computer and then it patched OK.
maybe you have tried this, but just putting my 2 cents worth in. it worked for me just last weekend.

If you download the full client, there's nothing to patch. You can use a free zip program like 7-Zip to extract the files from the zip file. Then you just use Razor to connect to the shard with and point it to the location of the folder where you extracted the files from the zip archive.
