Can the supply vendors give you the items in the form of a commodity deed instead of a 5000# pack of items that you can't hold lol

Nope. You get the items as they are. You can get a commodity deed and fill it after you buy stuff. That's your choice.

Would you consider allowing us to cut/chop items on the ground or in a chest without the need for them to be in our pack?

Doubtful. There's a weightlimit for bags and backpacks for a reason. If you guys didn't have to have things in your backpacks to craft items, there would just be things lying all over the shard. Plus, if you use the craft bag, crafted items go in there and you can salvage the materials from your crafted items, over and over. If things are on the ground, you can't do that. You'd have to drag them into your craft bag anyway.

I guess I can see that point. I was thinking of it from the supply vendor side of it where they give us the raw items, piles of hides and logs, and we need to covert them to cut leather and boards. Say I have a pile of 15K logs, I have to pull them into my pack say 150 at a time (since they weigh 2 stones per log) to chop them into boards, whereas if we can just chop the logs on the ground or in a chest/bag in our house then I don't have to perform the aforementioned tedious task. I've tried a razor macro using a restock macro, and target by type logs, but razor looks for all logs, including those in chests in our house, and we can't chop those cause they're not in our pack.
That's where my question stemmed from.

Well, for the logs, you can craft right from the log itself, they don't "have" to be boards. As for the hides, well, you can get the Tailor's Storage unit from the Reward House. It can carry hides, or cut leather in huge quantities. That being said, the Wood Storage Key holds boards and/or logs, but if you add logs, you can only remove boards. Hope this helps a bit.
