Spellcrafting and Spellcrafting Vendor Info

Spellcrafting
1. Spellcrafting Questline-The questline starts in New Haven with Balto. You can find Balto near the New Haven docks.

How It Works:
Spellcrafting allows you to enhance weapons, items and armor with specific magical properties. An example of a magical property would be Defense Chance Increase. The basic components of Spellcrating are: Spellcrating Jewels, Magic Jewels and the Book of Spell Crafts.
Spellcrafting Jewels: These jewels contain the actual spellcraft you apply to your item. When you find a spellcrafting jewel, you must drag/drop it into your Book of Spell Crafts to add it to the list.
Magic Jewels: These jewels are used to charge your Book of Spell Crafts. This is important because different spellcrafts require different amounts of charges. When you find these jewels, drag/drop them into your Book of Spell Crafts.
Book of Spell Crafts: This book contains all the spellcrafts that you have "learned" by dragging/dropping the Spellcrafting Jewels into the book. When you open the book you will see a list of available spellcrafts. Select the section you want and if the spellcraft is available to you, it will be shown.
NOTE: If you fail to spellcraft something there is a chance the spellcraft will explode causing you a minimum of 50 damage. Also there is a chance the item you are trying to spellcraft could explode AND be destroyed.
Requirements and Limitations for Spellcrafting:

Minimum Inscription: 50
Minimum Alchemy: 50
Limitations
Max Magical Properties: 3
Artifacts cannot be spellcrafted. (In most cases artifacts already have 3 magical properties.)
Minimum Intensity of Magical Property: 2
Maximum Intensity of Magical Property: 10
Adding Spell Channeling to something could result in a casting penalty.
Spellcrafting Vendors-Missing some spellcrafting jewels to finish filling your book? Look no further. The Spellcrafting Vendors are available in Umbra (Necro/Mage Shop), New Haven (Mage Shop), and Luna (Mage Shop). Spellcrafting jewels sell for 250,000gp each, with some that are just not available on the vendors and can only be found from killing the various Guardian Of The Magics. Spellcrafting Vendors will also buy your extra spellcrafting jewels.
