Gold Panning

Gold Panning-Have you been working on your fishing? No? Well now is the time to start. The gold panning system is based on a player's fishing skill and it allows players to find gold nuggets and other mining resources. The larger gems can also be found with gold panning, most notably the Fire Ruby has a dramatically increased drop-rate using this system. Players can find various size gold nuggets; small, medium, and large. The idea is to combine from smallest to largest to get gold bricks, then combine two gold bricks to turn in for a nice bank check. The conversion process is as follows:

5 Small Nuggets=1 Medium Nugget
3 Medium Nuggets=1 Large Nugget
2 Large Nuggets=1 Gold Brick
2 Gold Bricks=200K Bank Check.

While gold panning, there is a chance you can summon a Midas Elemental. These elementals are slightly tougher than Fire Rock Elementals, except they can reflect spells and reduce all pet damage done to them to 0, so you'd better get your sword and board ready. The Midas Elementals also have a chance to drop large nuggets a reward scroll and/or a piece of an artifact. You need 5 artifact pieces to turn in to receive the artifact. All conversions can be done at the Nugget Trader in Buc's Den in Tram and Fel. You can gold pan any water you can find, except for fountains and water troughs, or water in your yard. The gold pan is a crafted object for Tinkers to make under the tools menu and it requires the following ingredients:

5 Valorite Ingots
1 Dreadhorn Mane
1 Eye Of Travesty
25 Muculent
