is the server down?

Working on getting it back up.

FYI: Due to the recent server/connection instabilities, we will be switching hosts soon. When there's a more accurate time frame, it will be posted here in the forums.

server seems to still be down, just curious of an eta on up or is this the server transition thats happening? Also was it the instability that caused the decline over the last few months?

"We regret to inform you that over the course of the past 6 months our server stability has declined due to hardware and networking issues. Please be advised we will be addressing these issues towards the end of November 2012. Once a solid date has been set, you will be notified at least 3 days in advance of the change-over. Your server's downtime should be minimal."

This was the notification I received from my hosting company, minus a few other details that you guys don't need to know.

will you be sending an email to all forum members once the server migration is finished? Honestly the stability these past weeks hasnt been that bad.

I'll leave a topic posted in Important Notifications board about the migration details when I get them.
