Guilds etc

As it is we have one guild on the shard and I realise that some have noted that there's a slight problem with over-representation. However, what's happening now,  is that we have lots of one-person guilds and no real attempts at trying to set up another sizeable guild

The reason, I invite everyone to my guild is this: Everyone is using public chat to relay messages to each other.  For the moment that's ok, but when the shard starts growing in size, we are going to have to use public chat as less of a general message centre. And for that purpose, having people speak in alliance/guild chat helps somewhat.

Anyway, until, have a large enough player basis, can I recommend everyone use the DCR as a starter guild and that anyone who leaves to set their own up, ally with us?

I just think it would help slow the use of Public chat for anything other than the purpose it was intended (GM help, etc.)

I though public chat is for that... to chat in public regardless if we are in the same guild or not.... but either way we can have it your way  ;D I'll keep it Guild chat when we are in official business.

The use of public chat has never really been made that clear, but it is for the larger part so people can ask for help. Right now it's not much of an issue but as the shard grows in size, it will be off-putting to any newcomer seeing and whole bunch of chat that they have no choice but to watch pass their screen. That's why I'm putting forward this particular idea.
