Taming hostile monsters, ie Nightmare

I'm having trouble taming several hostile monsters such as Nightmares, Dragons, Drakes, etc... Also non-hostile Swamp Dragons. I anger them immediately and even peacemaking didn't help. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Both my Taming and Lore are 100.0 and that meets the min taming for the creatures I was trying to tame. my problem is that as soon as I try taming the animal instantly becomes angry and attacks. I hae clear LOS and will tab twice so I don't attack them. I did have some luck with swamp dragons by setting a macro for last skill then last target but it takes aprox 10-15 attempts to try taming without it getting angry. I was tabbing twice into then out of war mode so I wasn't attacking the animal but it still attacked me but I was eventually able to make a taming attempt but most were failures it took aprox 45 mins to tame one swamp dragon. I don't see this method working for stronger monster like dragons and nightmares tho. my preferred profession is tamer butthis is making it very difficult to do lol.

After eating until full and drinking 2 pictchers of water the swamp dragons till become angry and I still have to use the tabbing method I mentioned earlier. I was able to tame a drake without it but have yet to try a nightmare. will update after trying.
