Quests (Idea)

There are alot of bugs with in alot of the quests, there should be tests done on them. Once they quest is set up and running, someone should log on from a diff computer, one not used to modify the system. Log in as a regular char ( no special gear and modified stuff ) and do the quests, this will show all the bugs that need to be fixed. Basiclly a Dry Run. This can be done every once in a while just to make sure eveything is going good with the quests or missions.

Care to elaborate upon which quests you're referring to?

The quests are extensively tested, since you mention it and often undergo weeks of testing before release. However, seeing as I am the only person who is currently creating, testing and fixing them right now, it is hard to pick up every aspect - that's where the players come in.

For one, the Filthy, Nasty, Stinking Thieves quest (Part of the Staff medallion Quest line) is bugged. I think it's the same quest line that starts with talking to Lang in New Haven. It's the part where you have to kill 5 pirate orcs to find the Shipping Instructions. They drop verite keys, but nothing to unlock, where Ive read that a chest is supposed to spawn that has the shipping instructions. Past problems with this quest involved delayed chest spawn. It's just not spawning at all.
