Donation box - some guidelines

When [donate (ing)  please bear in mind the following things:

- The donation box is not a bin. Only donate items that you deem useful, not items you want to get rid of.  There is a trash bag, which you can attain for free from the reward shop for that particular purpose. If you are macroing, then please use the trashbag, it's really not fair on a new player to have to sift through garbage.

-Please do not donate high-end gear. We'd prefer that you give regular loot only, no arties. no spellcrafted gear and  absolutely no rare drops.

- Please make sure not to donate things such as:

-Reward scrolls
-Power scrolls
-Cursed LRC trainer gear

-Please do not donate high-level tamed pets.  For the most part, because we'd prefer that the players tame them themselves, but also because almost always they will not be usuable by any new player.

The basic idea to follow is:

If you have something kinda cool but not of any particular value to yourself that you'd like to give to a new player, it's better to just give it yourself to them, rather than use the donation box.  When a newbie finds a pretty cool item (i.e The cheese cutter gear/Platter of Dread) in the box, it begins to foster a mentality that these things aren't actually worth anything (Which they almost certainly are.)  Give em, sell em, but please don't donate medium to high-end gear.

Thanks,
Mog
