**1-2-2016**

Artifact Crafting
Allows players to craft replicas of stealables and other items after learning the recipe.

Component List

Artifact Maps: Similar to regular treasure maps, only they are based in Tokuno.
Artifact Chests: Dig these up just like a regular treasure map chest. Inside will either be Blueprint pieces or Master Blueprint Pieces.
Blueprint Pieces: Combine 3 blueprint pieces (doubleclick any one piece) to receive an Artifact Satchel, which contains a random recipe for Artifact Crafting.
Master Blueprint Pieces: 1 Master Blueprint and 1 Blueprint can be combined (doubleclick either piece) to receive an Artifact Satchel which contains two random recipes for Artifact Crafting.
Artifact Ore: Created by smelting gold coins (yes the ones in your backpack or bank). 1,000 gold = 1 Artifact Ore and you can smelt up to 5,000 gold at a time.
Transmogrifier: The tool you need to access the Artifact Crafting system. Chance to appear in Artifact Satchels.

How It Works

Players can visit the Vesper Museum and speak with Grant the Museum Guard to obtain a Museum Retrieval Investigator talisman. Equipping this talisman allows players to locate members of the Crimson Raiders who have been stealing artifacts from the museum. They are a murderous groups of bandits, but they are having trouble selling the items they have stolen. As such, most of the items are still being carried in their backpacks! Simply "steal" the item back and return it to Simon, Marcus' assistant, inside the Vesper Museum and he will reward you with an Artifact Map. The crafting system is based on a player's Item Identification skill. To train Item Ident, just click the skill and target an item. Most artifact replicas will retain the color of the wood used during crafting, with a few exceptions.

The crafting system itself is based on a players Item Identification skill. With the introduction of Imbuing with SA, Item Ident has become useful again. Training it is very simple, just click the skill and target an item.

Artifact Crafting uses various ML/SA ingredients and assuming you have learned the recipe for the replica you wish to craft you will also need:
Boards/Logs
Artifact Ore

Artifact Ore can be created by smelting a player's gold coins. 1,000 gold = 1 Artifact Ore and you can smelt up to 5,000 at a time.
The majority of the Replicas that are crafted will retain the color of the wood that was used. There are a few that won't get colored like the Skinned Goat for example.

Getting an Artifact Map is fairly easy. Medical Crafting

Medical Crafting-This craft will help level a player's healing up to Legendary (if they have a 120 Healing powerscroll). Here are some of the things included with Medical Crafting.

Components:
Scribe's Pen
Bandages
Various Potions
Various Mage Regs

Requirements:
Minimum 0 Healing Skill (You can level your Healing by crafting Medical Books as well.)

About Pain Killers:

Pain Killers Increase health almost instantly with high dosage for treatment. However, pain killers are harder to make then normal bandages, but return a faster result.

About New Books:

The new books start out easy to make. Once you reach a high level. You must wait to craft your final medical book called Medical Treatments Book. This book will allow you to write prescriptions to give or sell to other players.

About Prescriptions:

Once you reach a high level of healing skill. You can write a prescription for your self or other players. However, presumptions are worth a lot. As in our modern day medical field, going to the doctor isn't cheap. So your bill for the players should take that into consideration as well.

Craft System Updates

Craft System Updates-All of the speciality books for Inscription have been adjusted to require fewer ingredients. However, some still require the larger ML gems; Fire Rubies and Blue Diamonds to be exact. Tinkers will find that some of the tool recipes have had their ingredients lowered as well.

New Additions Updated:

**5-2-2011**

Craft System Updates

Crafting-A lot of the existing crafting systems have been reworked to include some of the new craft systems. Tailors can now make carpets, runners, and pillows. Bowcrafters can make the two Fire Rock bows, as well as the ammo for both. Blacksmiths can make all the Fire Rock items and weapons. Tinkers can make the Fire Pick, Mallet and Chisel, Painting Palette, and the Blowpipe. Inscriptionists can now craft the speciality books; Stone Crafting, FireRock mining, Gem mining, Glassblowing, Sand mining and Stone Mining. Alchemists can make all the fireworks. Because the speciality books are now crafted, the vendors that previously sold them will no longer carry them and they will not stock the required tools, since those can now be crafted through Tinkering.
